This is the one venue where you can hear pointed and moderated questions to the Candidates for the position of Bandera County Judge.

Local Bandera County news outlets BanderaProphet.Com and BanderaNewzJunky.Com are jointly sponsoring a political debate amongst GOP Candidates for Bandera County Judge. Candidates include Dennis Fitzgerald, Susan Junker, and Kim Manglberger. The debate is scheduled for Friday, February 13, 2026, at 7:00PM. Moderated questions will begin promptly at 7:00PM and continue for about an hour and then the debate will be closed so that those attending can approach the candidates with their own individual concerns and questions.
According to BanderaNewzJunky.Com editor, Ron Clarke, the candidates “seem excited” to enter a venue together and be asked pointed questions about themselves and their platform. The questions for each candidate will be answered in turn but will be entirely their own. He added “The moderated debate will closely follow established rules about decorum for both the candidates and the audience, time limits for answering, etc. Politics is often spirited, especially in our County and can be a flashpoint. This is the first real live debate amongst candidates, and it will be interesting to hear all that they have to reveal about their platforms, etc. Candidates will be furnished the guidelines for the debate well ahead of the event but will not be provided any background on the questions themselves.”
Dennis Fitzgerald stated “I look forward to all engagements where I can receive input and feedback from our community members. I will answer questions to the best of my ability and look forward to seeing everyone.”
Col. Susan Junker stated "I look forward to sharing my experience, community commitment, and my capabilities to serve as the next Bandera County Judge. This is an equally important opportunity to learn more about our voters' concerns and expectations of their leadership. It would be an honor to continue to serve Bandera County."
Kim Manglberger added “I’m looking forward to the debate because it gives voters a clear look at how candidates think, lead, and handle difficult issues, while focusing on what matters most to Bandera County families—conservative values, transparency, and respect for the people who rely on our county government. Open dialogue is how trust is built, and I’m ready for that conversation.”
