Burn Ban in Bandera County

Open Burn Ban Restored in Bandera

Burn Ban Active in Bandera County

Origin:  Bandera County Commissioner's Court

On 10/8/25, the Bandera County Commissioner's Court reinstated the "Open Burning" Ban on land county-wide.

Even with recent rains, the Texas A&M Foresty Service has stated that the fire danger in Bandera County remains moderate.

Most fire departments in Bandera County are volunteer led and volunteer staffed.   BBQ grills, and grated burn barrels with supervision are still allowed.

PLEASE DO NOT BE THE CAUSE OF A WILDFIRE THAT COULD CAUSE DAMAGE TO YOUR NEIGHBOR OR OUR VOLUNTEER FIRE PERSONNEL.

For more information, visit the Bandera County Fire Marshal portion of the website.
