bandera county burn ban reinstated.

Bandera County Commissioners court has reinstated the county-wide open burn ban.

Bandera County Burn Ban is in effect immediately.

Origin:  Bandera County Commissioner's Court

On 1/9/25, the Bandera County Commissioner's Court reinstated the "Open Burning" Ban on land county-wide.

Even with recent rains, the Texas A&M Foresty Service has stated that the fire danger in Bandera County remains moderate.

Most fire departments in Bandera County are volunteer led and volunteer staffed.   BBQ grills, and grated burn barrels with supervision are still allowed.

For more information, visit the Bandera County Fire Marshal portion of the website.
